Introduction - Leo Tolstoy began writing war and Peace in the year 1863 , The year in which he was finally married and settled in his country estate . The Title of the First Draft was "The story of 1805". But Leo Tolstoy was not much satisfied with this work, he was also confused, with the ending of the first draft cause, he was not able to coincide with the beginning of the novel. The novel comprises of the French invasion of Russia and how people were affected with the terrorism of Nepolean Bonaparte. The whole of Europe including Russia was influenced with his terrible acts. Nepolean Bonaparte had a huge army and a lot of support to capture territory of Russia and especially Moscow, because it was said that if someone captures Moscow , he can easily capture rest of Russia including the Army of Alexander first of Russia. But in sort to capture Russia, Nepolean did a mistake he moved to Moscow in the month of September and usually it suffers a severe cold, and also Moscow was already freed at that Time due to terrors of Napoleon. So after Moving to Moscow, Napoleon suffered only losses and he his army grieved against each other out of Hunger. The story itself explains the life of 5 families and also This novel is one of the best creation of English Literature till date. The novel in full Series and set was first published in the year, 1869. In 4 Volumes and 1 Epilogue.
The story: The Story Starts in St. Petersburg, Russia. In the year 1805,Where a Party was hosted by Anna Pavalona, who was her Owner's Favourite maid (Maria) and she is maid of a house . In this party there was a boy named Pierre who has studied from abroad and his Friend Prince Andre, was present, Prince Andre who is married to Lisa, but he was not satisfied with his marriage life and all the time he used to talk about his bad partner to his friend Pierre. Where on the other side Pierre was his favourite child to his step Father and also he owns all his father's Property , he was a good person and also loyal to his words and honest , but the fact stays that he was also not into marriage ceremony and matrimonial clutches yet he was very much out passed with Marriage. In the next scene we came to the Capital of Russia, Moscow and here once a family was living named Rostovs family, Named count and countess Rostov along with there 4 children named Natasha, Nicholas, Vera and Astrid , Prince Andre had a family of 3 members his wife (Lisa), Father and his sister Maria. Prince Andre was working before in Russia's Army so at the time of Emergency, when Russia was threat with the terror of Napoleon Bonaparte, all the troops was called out to help Russian Army and there Prince Andre met with Nicholas and his friend Donstov ,Nicholas always wanted to marry her cousin sister (shiny) because she lost her parents few years back but his father always wanted to marry his son to a rich girl, Nicholas and his Friend Donstov along with Prince Andre was sent to Russian border, for a huge battle in the history of World, called Battle of Austerlitz , This is the most important battle of the history and this novel because from here there life changed. Although Nicholas and his Friend Donstov saved there life and Ran away but Prince Andre was badly Injured and was taken into Napoleon Army for Medication after a couple of months when Prince Andre was heeled with his wounds, he made is mind to go back his home and rescue himself from Army Hospital, when he reached home he saw that his wife, Lisa has died due to giving birth to his child, after seeing this Prince Andre became very much depressed and felt Dejected in life, he cursed himself as he was the only responsible person for his wife's death, On the other Side Pierre's Father Died, and he was married to a girl named Helena, she was a beautiful, young Russian lady . It is said that her character was full of Humors about her Relationships and behavior all along the street, although she became the richest lady yet she was considered to be a characterless in society . This created a sort of insecurity as he heard about his Wives relationship with a guy called Antony . Helena was cruel by nature in sort to live her own lifestyle but she was always true to her husband, Pierre. After seeing Pierre family's .Prince Andre became sad in his life, in order to work and excel his newly born child's needs. he went to Moscow and there he met with Rostov family ,there he met with Sister of Nicholas named Natasha and she was much younger and bright Female now, Prince Andre was impressed by Natasha's Deeds and was merely started having feelings for her but he didn't made up his mind strong with her. On the other side after cursing Helena for her love affairs Pierre left her and started travelling to Moscow, he made his mind to do something great in life ,so he made his goal to kill, Napoleon Bonaparte, but as its said, Moscow has nothing left with it and the whole city was empty so as Pierre was there but in the end Napoleon asked Pierre to take to city of Buzwarg, where Alexandra first., Commander of Russia was along with his ArmyBut Pierre made a smart move and escaped from the army during Battle of Auxemberg but his Friend Prince Andre died due to injuries in the same battle. Pierre went to meet Maria , sister of Prince Andre to take care of his child but there he meet with Rostov family and especially Natasha, at first look Natasha liked Pierre and they both married together taking care of Prince Andre's Child and Maria married to Nicholas with grace and like this Rostov family cleared there loans and became cleared chit. This is the First volume part but this is not the end, the First volume is over here, in the next part we shall see, how Napoleon Found Pierre and futher how he took his revenge.
